OUR QA TEAM
Our QA team plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our offerings while reducing the workload for our engineering teams.
We focus on four key pillars:
- Quality Mindset: Promote a proactive approach to quality by embedding testing strategies within the product delivery lifecycle, emphasizing edge cases and acceptance criteria, and encouraging collaboration among team members.
- Testing Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies that recognize the interconnectedness of our ecosystem, enhance product reliability, and support frequent release cycles.
- Data Transparency: Foster a data-driven culture by ensuring full visibility into testing KPIs, including functional coverage, automation rates, and execution metrics.
- Community of Practice: Build a strong QA community to share best practices and methodologies, elevating the quality culture within Edenred.
Our QA team collaborates closely with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to ensure our products meet the high-quality standards our customers expect.
We expect our QA leadership to serve as role models, mastering our products and being both functionally and technically proficient, capable of influencing both Product and Engineering teams.
We encourage autonomy within each team, and Senior QA Engineers will be responsible for aligning our SmartER QA principles, tools, and methodologies with the unique needs of their teams, whether related to technology (e.g., Mobile, Web, API) or functional complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Leadership: Direct the QA strategy for web and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards across B2B and B2C products.
- Test Automation: Advocate for robust test automation strategies to ensure comprehensive and efficient automated test coverage.
- End-to-End Testing: Develop and implement thorough end-to-end testing strategies for cloud-native architectures, including APIs and Microservices.
- Coaching: Serve as a mentor for QA engineers (2 to 4 within a team), providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Utilize Jira and the Atlassian suite for test planning and execution, employing Gherkin language for test scripting.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Experience in agile environments, focusing on shift-left testing practices.
- Background in testing cloud-native applications, including microservices and APIs.
- Proficiency in both front-end (web/mobile) and back-end integration testing.
- Experience with test management tools, particularly Jira and the Atlassian suite.
- Familiarity with writing and executing tests using Gherkin language.
