System Integration Team

The System Integration team in the Hardware department is responsible for the integration activities of new sub-systems into our QPU platforms. We follow the V-model, starting with a top-down system decomposition and definition stream, followed by a bottom-up integration and recomposition stream, with dedicated verification and validation tests at each level.

Key Responsibilities
  • People and Team Management: Identify recruitment needs, welcome and onboard new team members, assess skillsets, and define individual development plans.
  • Budget Management and Integration Activities Tracking: Implement and update procedures related to integration activities, set up and monitor KPIs, define and manage the annual budget, and select service providers.
  • Project Management: Make decisions on resource allocation, follow up on projects, and supervise junior engineers and interns.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with 10+ years of experience in industry, working on complex system development, and following V-cycle project management or a similar approach. You should have around 5 years of experience in integration of complex systems and experience working in industrial engineering sectors like aeronautics, medical, defense, telecommunications, naval, automotive, and industrial computers.

Requirements
  • Experience with complex hardware systems and instrumentation, and Embedded Software integration and deployment.
  • Strong interest in industrialization of complex systems.
  • Experience in managing a team of engineers and technicians working in a matrix project organization.
  • Experience with versioning control tools such as PLM/PDM tools for HW and git-like tools for SW.
