Job Title: Microscopy Specialist

Job Overview

As part of our expansion, we are establishing a new 'Imaging' division that will focus on microscopy expertise. We are looking to recruit 2 Microscopy Specialists to join this team, which is expected to grow to 4 members. You will report to the 'Analytics' division, which consists of 11 professionals.

Your main duty will involve performing sample evaluations utilizing fluorescence microscopy, ensuring high standards and timely results under the supervision of imaging specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage collaboratively with engineers from the Analytics and Research and Development teams on projects related to cellular therapy utilizing 3D-cultured iPS cells.
  • Coordinate closely with the Quality team to comply with established standards and the Quality Management System for effective process implementation.
  • Prepare samples for detailed analysis.

Additionally, you will participate in laboratory setup, equipment organization, liaising with both internal and external analytical teams, data collection, structuring results, documenting experiments, optimizing protocols, maintaining equipment, and presenting findings.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with a degree in biology or biotechnology at the BAC +2/3 level.

We have 2 positions available:

  • The first position requires at least 1 year of experience in optical microscopy.
  • The second position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in optical microscopy.

Expertise in 2D sample preparation, microscopy techniques (wide-field and confocal), and analysis software such as ImageJ, QuPath, and AiVia is essential. Proficiency in written English is also important.
