Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced UFR QA/QC Lead Engineer to join our team at VINCI Energies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating QA and QC activities and supporting the package manager on all quality matters within the UFR teams for the Project.
Key Responsibilities:- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding H3SE policies and procedures, implementing H3SE rules and requirements within the relevant area of responsibility and complying with H3SE training requirements.
- Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy and promote the re-enforcement of the Anti-Corruption Program.
- Ensure that the Project QMS will be duly implemented by all team members of the UFR package.
- Develop and maintain the UFR EPC and Service Contractor Quality Management System in compliance with the EPC Contract, specifically in line with Contract Exhibit H.
- Enforce contractual commitments, implement the Contract Quality Plan and Objectives, and safely, effectively, and timely perform activities according to Company specifications, designs, and codes.
- Control relevant ISO 9001 processes, including quality audit, quality NC management, corrective and preventive actions management, KPI management, lesson learnt, and feedback management.
- Supervise day-to-day Contractors' quality activities and witness/monitor/review Supervisors/Inspectors' activities during Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Service works carried out by UFR Contractor or subcontractors.
- Approve the UFR Contractor's Project Quality Plan and specific components/parts/sub-assembly/assembly, Inspection Test, and any other quality document of the UFR contractors or vendors or subcontractors.
- Follow up, coordinate, and with the assistance of local Supervisors/Inspectors, the quality system at the Contractor's manufacturing sites, fabrication yards, and key sub-vendors facilities.
- Produce, finalize, and distribute Quality Dossiers, including all necessary certifications, and finalize the manufacturing record book associated with item deliverables, promptly.
- Liaise with Third Party Inspection and Certification authorities, directing them regarding key issues in terms of timing and locations and providing them with all tech specs to carry out the work.
- Monitor, correct, and report the Contractor's working practices and work deliverables, as needed.
- Consistently liaise actively with the COMPANY Project Quality Manager and other members of the project Quality Team as well as the UFR team.
The project has a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the studies managed by the company on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of the offshore project.
The technical challenges the project will face are the reservoir development and management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system.
The project's Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focusing.
Qualifications and Required Experience:- Knowledge of the UFR Products and relevant Quality regime.
- Significant working experience in a similar service within the Oil and Gas field.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English.
- Professional Experience: 15 years minimum.
- Experience within project/s: 10 years minimum.
