The role of Cybersecurity Solutions Architect at Ledger is pivotal to our cybersecurity strategy, acting as the primary authority and resource for all aspects related to network architecture, segmentation, isolation, systems hardening, and security frameworks. This position is tasked with the essential duty of designing and enhancing the security infrastructure that supports Ledger's operations, requiring a forward-thinking approach to create scalable, resilient, and robust security solutions.
As a principal architect of Ledger's security initiatives, you will spearhead the development of extensive security frameworks and architectures, ensuring our defenses remain unyielding and proactive against emerging cybersecurity threats.
This position is tailored for individuals who possess a profound passion for cybersecurity, particularly in the strategic dimensions of network security, and who aspire to significantly influence the security posture of a leader in the Web3 and hardware wallet sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Design and integrate cybersecurity architectures for systems and networks with specific security requirements.
- Execute proofs of concept and implement security solutions.
- Formulate cybersecurity architecture guidelines and ensure that systems developed or acquired align with these designs.
- Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities in security architecture, and devise a security risk management strategy for the infrastructure (Cloud, IT, and on-premises).
- Collaborate with teams on threat modeling to ensure secure architecture development.
- Represent security in the creation of enterprise-level policies and governance concerning cloud security (AWS, K8s).
- Mentor infrastructure engineers on best practices for cloud and architecture security, advocating for security requirements within their teams.
- Support and guide the SIEM Threat Detection Engineer in enhancing SIEM & SOAR capabilities by integrating actionable streams of security insights.
- Over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on designing and implementing secure architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Proficiency in IAM design, ZTNA, and access control architectures.
- Expertise in implementing and overseeing Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices organization-wide.
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2 type 2, GDPR, or ideally SLSA.
- Experience with API security.
