As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal system performance and reliability in both current operations and future projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance process control systems, including SIMATIC PCS7, TIA, and MFCSWin.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of automation and computer systems.
- Lead retrofit initiatives aimed at modernizing and optimizing existing facilities, taking into account the entire lifecycle of the plant.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination of automation systems.
Supporting Qualification Processes:
- Develop and implement necessary changes and corrective actions.
- Create user requirements and independently execute commissioning activities.
- Establish and monitor maintenance schedules while ensuring all documentation for automation and computerized systems is up to date.
Qualifications:
- Approximately 2-3 years of technical experience in automation, ideally within the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proficient knowledge of SIMATIC PCS7 / TIA systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a constructive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
