About the Role
AVENTA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Safety Specialist to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our Technical Safety Team, you will be responsible for supporting safety studies and risk assessment activities on various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety studies and risk assessments on process plants, including fire risk, gas dispersion, and explosion risk.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on safety-related matters.
Requirements
- Fluency in French and English.
- Graduate degree in chemical processing, chemistry, physics, or thermodynamics from a reputable institution.
- First-hand experience in safety studies related to process plants, with knowledge of accidental event modeling.
- Proficiency in simulating tools like PHAST is an asset.
