Race Engineer

SainteLoc Racing is seeking a highly skilled Race Engineer to join its 2025 single-seater programs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in single-seater racing and a strong understanding of lap time simulation software and vehicle dynamics/aerodynamics.

• Oversee all aspects of setup and performance for one of the race cars, including data acquisition and driver communication.
• Attend all races, testing, and simulator sessions.
• Prepare reports, graphs, tables, and other documentation to summarize car and driver performance.
• Develop, maintain, and set up engineering software.
• Prepare and maintain technical worksheets and operational procedures.
• Set up IT and radio systems on the track.
• Assist in managing the garage and its infrastructure.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience in single-seater racing is highly desirable.
• Experience with Wintax is essential.
• Strong understanding of lap time simulation software and vehicle dynamics/aerodynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and programming software such as Matlab/Simulink.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
