The Financial Markets Analyst will play a crucial role in conducting thorough research and developing comprehensive business specifications in collaboration with various stakeholders. This position will support data evolution and address the needs of multiple processing chains involved. In this multifaceted role, the analyst will convert user requirements into technical specifications for IT implementation. Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct studies, preliminary analyses, and create functional specifications.
  2. Develop data models with extensive knowledge of financial instruments and the financial information sector.
  3. Oversee project design, implementation, and standardization processes, including migration plans.
  4. Analyze VDF data and other potential suppliers (e.g., HiKu for historical prices, LSS for real-time prices).
  5. Engage in analysis and/or design in CDM to ensure all necessary data is provided to SIX Flex, WepApi, and Cloud products.
Qualifications
  1. In-depth understanding of financial market operations: participants, instruments, mechanisms, and stock exchange organization, including regulations.
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of various asset classes of financial instruments and their market functionalities.
  3. Strong desire to become a subject matter expert in areas such as equities, bonds (rates, loans, calculations, coupons), mutual funds, warrants, issuers, identifiers, indices, market data, ETD, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, and ESG.
  4. Proficient in participating in meetings in English or French, whether in-person or virtual, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and proactivity.
  5. Your independence, adaptability, listening skills, and analytical abilities will enable you to produce clear specifications.
