Camo Emploi is seeking to hire a Surface Finishing Specialist (M/F) for our client, a leader in the field of metal fabrication.

As a Surface Finishing Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing components for the finishing process (cleaning, protecting, sanding, and verifying dimensions)
• Setting up and calibrating production machinery (grinders, selecting abrasives, configuring CNC machines, and tribofinishing equipment)
• Identifying necessary finishing operations
• Expertly using both manual and powered tools and abrasives
• Assessing surface conditions based on technical specifications
• Adjusting tools and abrasives, securing and positioning pieces, and managing abrasion parameters
• Executing the surface abrasion process
• Conducting visual and dimensional inspections on each finished piece
• Performing touch-ups to achieve a flawless finish (brightening and satin finishing)
• Monitoring abrasive wear and conducting replacements as needed
• Maintaining accurate production documentation
• Carrying out basic maintenance tasks

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, enabling them to work autonomously and efficiently.

Familiarity with machinery is essential, along with the ability to memorize operational sequences, execute production tasks, and adhere to technical and safety protocols.

Being detail-oriented and precise is crucial, as well as having excellent vision for meticulous work.

This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Working hours are structured from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM.
