Residence Advisor

EF Côte d'Azur is seeking a Residence Advisor to join our team in Nice, France. As a Residence Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campus junior and developing a sense of community among our residents.

• Accommodate new students and ensure they feel at home. Prepare rooms in advance, maintain accurate arrival and departure records, and participate in weekly orientation sessions for new residents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to students for any housing-related issues. Liaise with the EF Residence Manager to resolve installation and maintenance problems promptly and efficiently.
• Enforce the EF Côte d'Azur internal regulations. Residence Advisors are responsible for ensuring students adhere to school rules and reporting any infractions to the administrative staff. This involves being a positive role model, intervening in cases of misconduct, and confronting students if necessary.
• Manage crisis situations and ensure the safety, well-being, and security of students and staff.
• Support students in their transition and help them adapt to life in France.
• Promote student life initiatives and develop a community atmosphere.
• Promote and participate in student activities organized on the campus junior.

• Experience in customer service, tourism/hospitality, or student services is highly valued. Experience living in residence and/or working/studying abroad is a significant asset.
• Passion for working in a diverse and multicultural environment and supporting the personal development of students.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document problems clearly and objectively.
• Empathy and compassion towards others, as well as excellent listening skills.
• Patient and able to work with students of varying levels of French language proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Able and willing to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly flexible and positive attitude.
• Fluency in French (C2) and English (B1). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• At least two years of professional experience.
• Minimum age: 21 years.
