Job Summary
The Aga Khan Academies is seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to join our team as a Humanities and Math Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Humanities and Mathematics to students in Grades 6-12, combining academic rigor with a wide range of co-curricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Design and implement effective, differentiated, and inquiry-based lessons in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote student learning and well-being.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Humanities and Mathematics education and implement best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) in Humanities or Mathematics.
- TSC Certification.
- At least 5 years of experience teaching Humanities and Mathematics in an IB Middle Years Programme and/or IB Diploma Programme setting.
