We are seeking a Solutions Architect Intern to collaborate with us in facilitating and enhancing AI research on the NVIDIA platform. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the fastest AI supercomputers globally. Solutions Architects serve as the primary technical liaisons for our clients, engaging deeply with scientific researchers and application developers to promote the adoption of NVIDIA technology. We are looking for an individual who possesses a profound understanding of contemporary AI research workloads, combined with expertise in accelerated computing and architecture.
This internship is designed for a PhD student eager to undertake a 4 to 6-month experience abroad, working closely with mentors.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate interactions with academic end-users on Generative AI, gaining insight into their objectives and requirements, while assisting the Solutions Architect team in defining and delivering high-value solutions.
- Identify specific use cases and create customized recipes or playbooks to support cutting-edge research utilizing NVIDIA frameworks (e.g., accelerated data curation pipelines, accelerated video data loading pipelines, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect team to scale AI training on HPC clusters, providing end-users with exemplary use cases to follow.
- Pursuing a Ph.D. in a STEM-related discipline.
- Two years of work or research experience in High-Performance Computing or Deep Learning.
- Proficient in both oral and written English and French.
- Proactive with strong analytical capabilities.
- Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks, multi-GPU computing, and Generative AI.
- Passion for accelerated computing.
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), Multimodal Language Models (MLM), Video Processing, or Foundation Models (FM).
- Experience in preparing and preprocessing large datasets.
- Experience working with supercomputers at scale.
- Skilled in profiling and analyzing AI training processes.
