About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Migration & Modernisation Specialist Solutions Architect to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (France Branch) - G48. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their cloud migration goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cloud migration strategies for large-scale enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with senior customer leaders and technical stakeholders to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage technical relationships between AWS and our customers, providing guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team and contributing to the development of cloud-native reference architectures.
  • Participate in the creation and sharing of technical content, such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts, to educate and evangelize about AWS technology.
Requirements
  • Background in cloud architecture, systems design, software development, infrastructure architecture, data engineering, or DevOps.
  • Technical degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Passion for technology and learning.
  • In-depth knowledge in a technology domain such as infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, zero-downtime migrations, IT security, data center operations, cloud operating models, software design, or development.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role or a role involving public speaking.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional) or other industry certification.
