Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of instrument systems and loops in the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and comply with Qafco 7 Project HSE requirements and QAFCO Integrated Management Systems.
- Review and comply with QAFCO 7 Quality requirements.
- Attend inspection witness and hold points as per the approved Quality Control Plan.
- Follow up site NCR and ensure proper actions and documentation.
- Coordinate instrument system/loop inspections with project team members.
- Verify and close punch items in area of responsibility.
- Inspect spares parts and special tools and ensure correct equipment is being used.
- Review EPCC contractor instrument QC personnel qualification and performance.
- Review and approve inspection and repair reports submitted by EPCC contractor.
- Ensure implementation of QAFCO 7 Contract requirements in area of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience for Engineers and 7 years for Diploma holders in inspection of instrument systems/loops in oil and gas industries or fabrication company.
- Good knowledge of various in-service inspection practices, review of specifications, etc.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
