Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the administrative, accounting, and financial management of P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios within your designated area.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to process and record contractual data.
- Monitor, verify, and process reinsurance accounts received from ceding companies.
- Act as an advisor to cedents and facilitate the production and transmission of reinsurance accounts.
- Manage settlements and oversee the financial transactions of third parties to ensure smooth cash flow.
- 5-7 years of technical insurance/reinsurance accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of insurance concepts.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Able to efficiently utilize computer tools and manage data in computer systems.
- Autonomy, thoroughness, and proactive communication skills.
This is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of reinsurance accounting and financial management. You will have the opportunity to be the point of contact for accounting and financial matters related to the reinsurance portfolios within your scope, providing guidance to cedents and contributing to the seamless flow of financial transactions.
