Project Engineer - Pipeline Installation

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Pipeline Group team at our Suresnes, Paris office. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the team and providing regular operational reports on project engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project scope from early engagement with clients through to offshore execution.
  • Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and subcontract follow-up.
  • Assist in installation rigging calculations and rigging design.
  • Support Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support.
  • Follow project scope offshore on our installation vessels.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Marine, Naval, Offshore Technology, Civil, or Mechanical discipline.
  • Relevant experience as a project engineer in the energy industry, ideally within subsea pipeline installation, particularly in the reel lay discipline.
  • Clear communication skills, able to speak with all levels within the business, and comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
  • Good report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as the ability to prioritize and organize work accordingly to meet deadlines.
