Your Role:
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Instrumentation, Control System, and Telecommunications department within the engineering division of the Paris office of Technip Energies. You will be responsible for participating in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the group's various Business Lines (BL), low-carbon solutions (CO2 capture, H2, Wind), LNG, or biofuels.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze standards on a technical basis.
- Select the technologies to be implemented.
- Write out the specifications, functional analyses, and requisitions.
- Prepare the detail files related to the implementation of control systems.
- Define the interfaces with the client team (operators, maintenance, IT, etc.).
- Define and validate the internal technical interfaces with the other disciplines.
- Analyze and define the process control and safety.
- Coordinate the technical aspects with the discipline squad leaders.
- Estimate and recommend the suppliers' bids on a technical basis.
- Monitor the purchase orders on a technical basis.
- Manage the supplier documentation.
- Chair meetings with suppliers.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in factory acceptance tests. Carry out commissioning missions on site.
Requirements:
You are a graduate engineer training, or you have a 2-year university degree in industrial control and automation. You have through your graduation internship a first experience in engineering studies in control and safety systems. Open-minded, curious, and adaptable, you are comfortable with a multi-cultural environment, and you are able to work with various partners and environments. You are fluent in English. You are mobile for displacements of several months in vendor factories or expatriation for commissioning activities on site.
