Job Summary:

The Centre Hospitalier Annecy Genevois is seeking a highly skilled and experienced production supervisor to oversee the daily operations of its laundry services. As a key member of the hospital's support team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the laundry process, from receiving soiled linens to preparing clean linens for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure the smooth operation of the laundry services.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the hospital's management team to develop and implement strategic plans for the laundry services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, operations management) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or operations management role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
