Position Overview: The retail outlet associated with the Church provides essential resources and sacred attire to its community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, requiring comprehensive product knowledge to assist patrons effectively.
- Address customer inquiries related to educational materials, proper garment fitting, and similar topics.
- Demonstrate cashiering capabilities along with product expertise gained through on-the-job training.
- Acquire product knowledge during a short training phase, typically lasting one to three months.
- As new items are introduced, staff are expected to familiarize themselves with the characteristics and uses of these products to better assist customers.
- Provide personal fitting services to clients at designated distribution centers.
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility and storage areas.
- Assist customers by answering questions and completing sales transactions.
- Support patrons in achieving the correct fit and understanding product usage, which may involve knowledge of various styles, materials, and care instructions.
- Respond to inquiries about ordering procedures and content related to educational materials.
- Utilize point-of-sale systems efficiently.
- Resolve customer issues while employing effective customer service techniques.
- Participate in inventory management and stock counts as needed.
- Serve customers in both French and English, accommodating international sizing differences.
- Contribute to the development of product displays and inventory arrangements as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail sales and customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and computer proficiency preferred.
- Availability to work scheduled shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, including holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English.
