Financial Strategy & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

In the role of FP&A Analyst at Singulier, you will serve as a vital business ally, delivering insightful analyses to facilitate informed decision-making for the Executive team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and efficient finance team, contributing to the establishment of the controlling function. This position offers opportunities for growth and adaptability as the role evolves over time.

Oversee the formulation of the company’s annual operating budget and projections:

  1. Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to create the annual budget.
  2. Conduct regular reforecasts and provide ad hoc analyses as required.
  3. Generate periodic Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reports.
  4. Manage, document, and enhance the company-wide budgeting framework.

Supervise all company Management Information and reporting:

  1. Execute financial processes, performance reporting, and help design the information flow and methodologies.
  2. Prepare materials for business evaluations presented to the senior leadership team.
  3. Assess company/project performance using precise and relevant KPIs, thereby enhancing the decision-making capabilities of management and leadership.

Direct the monthly closing process:

  1. Conduct monthly financial closings, consolidations, and variance analyses with utmost quality, reliability, and accuracy for group executives and stakeholders.
  2. Develop, implement, and continuously refine monitoring and reporting tools to automate and streamline routine tasks and existing processes, supporting the company’s growth.

Systems and process enhancement:

  1. Establish and execute a tooling automation strategy.
  2. Lead the financial implementation of key systems as the organization expands and evolves.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm and/or startup or scale-up environment.
  2. Master’s Degree in Finance from a recognized business school or university.
  3. Exceptional analytical abilities, with a structured and organized approach.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  6. High ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  7. Advanced problem-solving skills with a creative mindset.
  8. Entrepreneurial spirit with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  9. Proficiency in both French and English.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  1. Familiarity with Sage and/or Stafiz is considered a significant advantage.
  2. Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders effectively.
