Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Educateur de Jeunes Enfants, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities
- Childcare and Education
- Develop and implement engaging and interactive educational programs for children aged 0-3 years
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children in your care
- Establish positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor early childhood educators and support staff
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture
- Participate in staff training and professional development
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Diplôme d'État d'Éducateur de Jeunes Enfants or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in early childhood education and care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
