Our mission is to become your trusted financial partner, and we're looking for a talented Data Product Manager to join our Product team.
Job DescriptionWe're seeking a skilled Data Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of data products that drive innovation, improve decision-making, and add value to Younited. As a key member of our Product team, you'll work closely with data teams, business owners, and designers to develop and specify effective data solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and champion the vision, strategy, priorities, and key results for your Data product area.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the user research team to prioritize the Data Engineering backlog and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management.
- Define and communicate a high-impact data roadmap that addresses Younited's goals while integrating into Younited's overall platform roadmap.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to develop and specify effective data solutions, and work with tech leads to frame features, identify dependencies, and adopt an iterative product approach.
- Define success with clear objectives and metrics that align with company goals and stakeholder needs, and monitor data product performance using analytics to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure the quality, reliability, and security of data products, and define data governance policies, establish data quality standards, and implement processes for data validation and cleansing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including business leaders, executives, and internal teams, and communicate effectively the value proposition of the data product, provide updates on progress, address concerns, and gather feedback.
- Bac+5 in engineering school, business, or equivalent academic.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting or product management.
- Experience as a data engineer will be appreciated.
- Outstanding records of academic and professional achievement.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and French.
- Salomé has been with Younited for a year and a half and is currently responsible for the vision, development, implementation, and management of data products that drive innovation, improve decision-making, and add value to Younited.
- She plays a key role in bridging the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and data-driven initiatives.
