Senior Collection Merchandiser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collection Merchandiser to join our team at Balenciaga S.A.S. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our leather goods collection from strategy to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the 360 Leather Goods Collection Merchandising strategy
- Present short- and long-term actions to drive category growth
- Define collection briefs and brief the creative team
- Communicate strategic ambitions and collection guidelines with creative teams
- Build the collection structure and ensure optimal balance
- Manage the collection plan and update coordination and design
- Ensure good communication between the studio, development, and production
- Manage editing tracking tools and build selling documents
- Present product briefs during the showroom and participate in feedback sessions
- Provide necessary data and support to Retail and Wholesale teams
- Support in building product training and presenting in showrooms
- Take ownership of Leather Goods cancellations post-showroom
- Define delivery groups based on pre-purchases and priorities
- Perform Women/Men's leather goods Sell in analysis
- Know your competitors and market landscape
- Partner with Retail weekly to identify collection opportunities
- Deliver collection efficiency and structure analysis
We are looking for a professional with extensive experience within Collection Merchandising and a deep understanding of the luxury leather goods market. You should have excellent product sensitivity, analytical and numeracy skills, and the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
