About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Modern Workplace Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our team at Avanade. As an M365 Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the workplace of tomorrow for large enterprises, driving customer adoption through technical leadership on strategic, complex, and transformative consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud technologies, leveraging requirements gathering, client discussions, industry, and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with clients to create innovative solutions, fostering collaboration internally through open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, utilizing Avanade's close ties with Microsoft.
  • Participate in virtual teams and communities, sharing technical insights and enhancing Avanade's industry presence.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of proven hands-on technical expertise in one or more of the following: M365 ecosystem, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange/SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • Have passed one or more of the following modern workplace certifications as a minimum: SC300, MS102 (MS203, MS500 – retired now).
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within these technologies.
  • Security awareness, with experience in implementing security measures within the Microsoft environment.
  • Passion for staying ahead of industry trends, being a continuous self-driven learner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
