Job Description:
In your role as an Engineer within the Supply Chain division, you will be instrumental in enhancing operations and spearheading cross-functional teams to refine and advance processes related to logistics, storage, and service delivery. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Project Management:
- Engage in team and organizational structuring based on client needs
- Assist in crafting a roadmap for ongoing improvement initiatives, directly involving operational teams
- Oversee the implementation of human resources, materials, infrastructure, IT, and quality measures in project mode, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, cost, and timeline targets
- Proactively suggest enhancements to elevate customer service
- Incorporate safety into your daily mindset and activities - Lean Methodology:
- Foster Lean Manufacturing principles and culture within operations
- Apply traditional Kaizen techniques such as 5S, SMED, 8D, 5M
- Tackle performance deficiencies using structured methodologies
- Empower operational teams by tailoring support to enhance their independence
- Ensure the sustainability of initiatives undertaken by IDEA
- Provide operational assistance in the absence of leadership
