Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Plant Design Engineer to join our team in Electromechanical Plant Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our HVDC stations, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for HVDC stations, including steel support, connectors, and insulators.
  • Evaluate and select standard techniques and procedures to perform station layout design and building requirements input to civil designers.
  • Provide technical support for installation and commissioning activities for HVDC projects under execution.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for engineering projects and programs, including bills of materials and estimated engineering hours.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and performing 2D drawings/layouts in software tools NX/TC.
  • High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
  • Some years of experience in substation engineering or similar.
