Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Assessment Specialist to join our Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out environmental assessments to inform and implement our Climate Strategy, which is deployed on scopes 1, 2, and 3 of the Group and oriented towards helping to decarbonize our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out environmental assessments to inform and implement the Axens Group's Climate Strategy
- Carry out and supervise Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) studies
- Develop internal methods and tools to assess the environmental impacts related to the Axens Group's offer
- Contribute to raising awareness of Axens employees on environmental analysis
- Provide support to the technical and commercial teams to answer questions from customers and other stakeholders relating to the environmental performance of the Group's offer
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an Engineering School or University
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in environmental assessment, preferably working on transport, energy, and industry sectors/systems
- Good command of methodologies and tools for environmental analysis (especially Life Cycle Analysis and carbon footprint)
- Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as GHG Protocol corporate standard, SBTi, or Net Zero Initiative (NZI)
- Ability to identify, synthesize, and challenge the key elements of a complex whole, as well as intellectual curiosity
- Fluent English is required for the position
