Job Summary

Groupe AC Environnement is seeking a highly skilled Thermic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Energy Studies department, you will be responsible for conducting energy audits and developing plans for energy-efficient building renovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct energy audits and develop plans for energy-efficient building renovations
  • Perform thermal calculations for buildings
  • Estimate costs for renovation projects
  • Identify building pathologies and develop recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement thermal simulations for post-renovation buildings
  • Provide technical assistance to energy operators
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients
  • Update databases and processes through regular technical and regulatory monitoring
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services for the Energy Studies department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. thermics, civil engineering)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in thermal calculation methods (e.g. 3CL or TH-CE)
  • Knowledge of building regulations and standards
  • Experience with energy-efficient building renovations and cost estimation
