We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Platform squad within the Platform division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, cultivating a collaborative environment, and ensuring the development of people and teams through ongoing coaching and mentoring.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with agile development teams, and a passion for growing, developing, and guiding people. You will be responsible for creating a team environment where team members feel like they belong and are supported to do their best work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a collaborative team in delivering great software that our customers and sellers will love
- Collaborate with the product group and other tribes to align the team with company objectives and initiatives across engineering and the wider business
- Ensure the development of people and teams through ongoing coaching and mentoring
