The Systems Actuarial Analyst role is a key position within SCOR's Actuarial Technical Support and Technical Financial Reporting teams. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Reserving Data Warehouse (RDWH) and the Contractual Service Margin (CSM) Engine.

The RDWH is a critical component of SCOR's IFRS17 actuarial cashflows and reporting data, while the CSM Engine is a tool for calculating key IFRS17 results for actuarial liabilities. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of these tools, testing their full integration in the reporting chain, and collaborating with the wider teams across the organization.

You will also be involved in the development of integrated, optimized processes across the organization, as well as the creation of further tools using programming languages such as Python and SQL. This role requires a strong understanding of actuarial methodology and financial reporting processes, as well as experience with big data analysis and actuarial system testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the RDWH and CSM Engine
  • Collaborate with the wider teams across the organization to ensure seamless integration
  • Develop and implement integrated, optimized processes across the organization
  • Create further tools using programming languages such as Python and SQL

Requirements:

  • Actuarial qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Experience with big data analysis and actuarial system testing
  • Strong understanding of actuarial methodology and financial reporting processes
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Full proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Working Environment:

You will be working in an Agile environment and will be required to collaborate closely with the wider teams across the organization. This role requires a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
