As a DevOps Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our DevOps strategy and implementing robust automation practices across our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure seamless deployment, testing, and maintenance of Java microservices within a highly secure environment.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for deploying Java microservices across various environments, including production.
- Implement and manage configuration management tools to ensure consistency and repeatability in our infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle, promoting continuous delivery practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for build processes, deployment procedures, and operational workflows.
- Contribute to the resolution of production issues by leveraging your expertise in monitoring tools and system diagnostics.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience in implementing automation solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on building and automating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
- Extensive experience working with enterprise-level microservice applications and deploying them in distributed environments.
- Proficiency in container management technologies such as Docker.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash for Linux platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Knowledge of cloud-based systems and tooling, including Amazon AWS.
- Experience with monitoring and analysis solutions such as Datadog or Grafana.
