Accounting Assistant Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices from suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage and analyze supplier accounts to optimize payment schedules.
  • Prepare and submit provision files for outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and payments for audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and treasury teams to improve processes and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss organizational issues and contribute to the development of new SOPs and operational instructions.
  • Respond to auditor requests and ensure adherence to established procedures.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills.

Language: Fluency in English.
