We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Assistant to join our International Office Property and Construction team. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will provide critical support to our underwriting activities, ensuring the efficient and accurate calculation of insurance/reinsurance premiums and the issuance of contractual documents.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with underwriting teams to calculate expected revenue forecasts and ensure accurate premium calculations.
- Manage contracts from issuance to monitoring reinsurance, ensuring compliance with latest legal directives and underwriting/management rules.
- Promote AXA XL's services and management offers to clients and brokers, acting as the main point of contact for their requests.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, collaborating with various departments to drive business growth.
- Initial experience with a broker or P&C insurer, preferably through an apprenticeship.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to process large volumes of information and synthesize key findings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional level of English.
- A dynamic, independent, and meticulous individual with a passion for underwriting and risk management.
