Embedded AI Researcher

IMT Atlantique is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the position of Chair of Junior Professor in Autonomous Embedded Systems Based on AI. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research in the field of embedded AI and contributing to the development of innovative engineering curriculum and educational approaches.

• Conduct research in embedded AI and contribute to the development of new international Master's degree in embedded AI
• Engage in Open Science, including publishing in Open Access journals and developing open data challenges
• Participate in local, national, and international research animation and develop research collaborations with international partners

• PhD in a relevant field with a proven record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals
• Strong skills in hardware design and/or software development
• Experience in algorithm-architecture optimization and embedded systems
• Strong interest in embedded AI and the algorithm-architecture optimization approach

• A dedicated research grant of 250,000€ to develop the research track in an international context
• Access to computing resources, design tools, embedded platforms, and libraries for FPGA and ASIC technologies
