Project Development Manager for Raw Materials Leather

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Development Manager for Raw Materials Leather to join our Accessories team, which includes shoes, belts, leather goods, and small leather goods. This role is based in Paris and requires frequent travel to tanneries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Source leather and textile materials;
  • Contribute to the development and industrialization of leather materials;
  • Place orders for raw materials for product development and industrialization;
  • Receive, label, and inspect leather hides;
  • Ensure timely delivery and follow-up on orders;
  • Monitor leather production in tanneries and factories;
  • Update tannery specifications;
  • Oversee invoicing;
  • Launch, analyze, and ensure the results of chemical and physical tests;
  • Request material technical sheets and certifications.

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in leather product development and accessories;
  • You are passionate about leather accessories (shoes, leather goods, belts, and/or small leather goods) and want to deepen your skills in this area;
  • You demonstrate strong initiative-taking and autonomous action capabilities;
  • You are organized, rigorous, flexible, and have good interpersonal skills;
  • You want to work in an international environment and have good English language skills. Italian would be a plus
