Transformative Opportunity at ENGIE

ENGIE is embarking on a groundbreaking transformation program, GET, aimed at driving the energy transition and industrializing the company. As a key player in this initiative, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Release Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the technical release process for the entire GET program, ensuring seamless coordination with the Release Manager and other stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technico-functional structures, Solman, and Cloud ALM, as well as experience in managing composite SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the GET landscape, including SAP environments, client strategy, and technical scale-up needs.
  • Contribute to the overall Release Calendar management, working closely with the Release Manager.
  • Supervise transport management for core SAP components, including Solman/ChaRM configuration and usage.
  • Monitor the qualitative execution of Transport Requests through automated cycles in Solman ChaRM.
  • Define exception processes for emergency/adhoc transports.
  • Supervise Refresh Management activity, defining and setting up industrialized procedures in cooperation with the Infrastructure team.
  • Contribute to Income Management, defining and monitoring adequate documents and checklists.
  • Bring strong expertise on SAP technico-functional structures.
  • Work with ENGIE teams and SAP teams to leverage supporting tools.

Requirements:

  • Very good knowledge of SAP technico-functional area, SAP Solman, and SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Understanding of managing a composite SAP landscape (S/4 Hana, SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, SAP Analytical Cloud, SAP DataSphere, ...).
  • Experience in overall activities part of SAP landscape technical lifecycle maintenance.
  • Fluent English (oral/written).
  • Leadership, experience in transverse management, and large team cross-coordination.
  • Experience of working in project management mode.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Team spirit.
