Job Title: Flight Control Systems Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Flight Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and validation of advanced flight control solutions. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and interpret the needs of clients to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Lead the design process and validation of innovative system solutions.
  • Establish system specifications and ensure they align with client expectations.
  • Engage in the validation of equipment specifications pertinent to flight control systems.
  • Evaluate the functional implications and criticality of identified issues during the development phase.
  • Conduct design studies focusing on performance, flight characteristics, and configuration.
  • Formulate control laws and associated parameters.
  • Oversee system integration and verification initiatives.
  • Review verification outcomes and compile comprehensive reports on verification activities.
  • Prepare for and facilitate milestone development assessments.
  • Contribute to the creation of certification documentation.
  • Participate in formal activities related to flight control systems.

Additional Information:

You will collaborate with various project stakeholders, including Program Managers, Design Teams, Testing Laboratories, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.

Occasional travel may be necessary for project-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) in aeronautics or flight mechanics, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend complex technical subjects with precision and practicality.
  • Self-sufficient and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage technical projects involving diverse contributors.
  • Proactive and energetic, with a passion for teamwork.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Flight Mechanics, Flight Quality, Matlab/Simulink, Control Systems, System Modeling, and System Engineering.
