About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Specialist to join our team at SoftConstruct. As a Visual Effects Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and dynamic visual effects for our sports betting and gaming operator. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing 2D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that align with our brand guidelines and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts.
- Design and create 2D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Synchronize visuals with audio and voiceover tracks.
- Prepare all animation elements for compositing, including delivering in set formats.
- Maintain consistency and coherence in design elements across all projects.
- Enhance animation with special effects at the post-production stage.
- Manage video creation from concept to storyboarding to animation.
- Conceptualize, visualize, and storyboard scripts, animations, and visual images for custom explainer videos.
- Integrate images and characters into background graphics.
- Produce a variety of animated/motion graphics.
- Modify and/or rework existing motion graphic assets.
- Ensure all animations and motion graphics are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
Requirements:
- At least two years of professional 2D/3D motion graphics/animation experience.
- Excellent command of the Adobe package with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
- Ability to create and execute multiple projects at the same time and turn 3D designs around within a small window of time with minimal errors.
- Knowledge of the following tools and software: Cinema4D, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Premier.
- Strong knowledge of basic animation principles.
- Ability to follow style guidelines.
- Ability to provide creative solutions to solve challenges.
- Adaptable and willing to take on suggestions and input.
- Self-motivated to do great work and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive communication skills, positive, 'can do' attitude.
- Open-minded, innovative, creative, and eager to learn.
- Experience in creating infographics is a desired skill.
- Ability to visualize abstract concepts.
- Drawing ability, artistic mindset.
