Project Overview

AVENTA is seeking a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team for a SURF and SPS EPCI project on a deep offshore field in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and validate welding documents from subcontractors
  2. Provide technical support to subcontractors on welding-related issues
  3. Develop and maintain welding documentation for structure and piping fabrication on the yard
  4. Coordinate welding qualifications on the yard
  5. Offer technical support to teams on the yard on welding-related matters

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications:

  1. Welding engineer with IWE or IWT certification
  2. Knowledge of structural and piping welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, NORSOK M101, DNV RP F101)
  3. Experience working on fabrication yards
  4. Able to travel to Brazil
