Strategic Procurement Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cogs as a Strategic Buyer, where you will play a key role in sourcing and managing critical components. As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of strategic industrial suppliers that contribute to air handling units, fire protection systems, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Supplier Relationships: Oversee a panel of suppliers, handling upfront sourcing, contracts, annual negotiations, and project collaboration.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Conduct technological and competitive monitoring to ensure your supplier portfolio offers cutting-edge solutions.
- Drive Innovation and Efficiency: Partner with project teams to leverage supplier expertise and implement cost-reduction initiatives (resourcing, value engineering).
- Ensure Supplier Excellence: Evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate for Success: Coordinate activities with other company sites to conduct joint negotiations and optimize purchasing strategies.
Travel is a key aspect of this role, primarily within Europe and Turkey.
Requirements:- Proven Experience: Hold a university degree and several years of experience in industrial purchasing.
- Technical Know-How: Possess a strong interest in technical products.
- Team Player with Strong Communication Skills: Collaborate effectively, participate in internal projects, and represent your profession with confidence.
- International Mindset: Fluency in English is essential for interacting with international contacts.
