Your RoleWe are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team in Toulouse, France. As a Technical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing one or more VCS projects in an ATM environment, working closely with our project manager and technical teams in Vienna.
Key Responsibilities- Manage VCS projects in an ATM environment, collaborating with project managers and technical teams.
- Act as the customer's primary point of contact for technical requirements and solution development.
- Interface between the customer and the rest of the team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform integration, validation, and customer acceptance tests.
- Support system commissioning on-site with the customer.
- Provide technical training and organize workshops with the customer, as needed.
- Travel regularly to customer sites in France and to our head office in Vienna, Austria.
- System Engineer with expertise in telecommunications and/or computer science.
- Experience in testing or deployment of critical systems on customer sites is desired.
- Networking and VoIP experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Linux is a plus.
- Ability to draft technical documents in French and English.
- System engineering knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge of air traffic control is a major plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Organizational, independent, reliable, and able to manage priorities and take initiatives.
- Fluent French and advanced English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly within France and to Austria.
