Job Title: Head of Directions Support

Join the CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, as we seek a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our IT Support and Coordination team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and analytical leader to head our IT Support and Coordination team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, financial management, operational management, communication and coordination, project management, process improvement, automation and modernization, resource management, and reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Oversight: Act as a strategic advisor to the CIO and senior management, providing guidance on IT strategy and direction.
  • Financial Management: Define, supervise, and coordinate department budgets, including tracking consumption, claiming status, invoice follow-up, and resource management.
  • Operational Management: Define, support, and review various committees, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison with staff, executives, and senior leaders regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Project Management: Participate in projects to improve and evolve Project Management processes, contributing to POCs (Proof of Concepts) on new tools.
  • Process Improvement: Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure, identifying knowledge and skills gaps and helping to address them.
  • Automation and Modernization: Lead efforts to automate manual processes and modernize financial tracking systems.
  • Resource Management: Provide insights on staffing plans, including the engagement capacity of external resources and strategies for cost reduction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed reports on budget consumption, expense forecasts, and resource engagement, providing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
  • Seven or more years of experience in business management, preferably in IT within at least 2 companies.
  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration, finance, or a similar field.
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • O365 / Office / SharePoint: Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint is essential for this role.
  • Strong Excel skills are necessary, including advanced functions and data analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Qlik Sense is highly appreciated and considered a significant asset.
