Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of electrical hardware associated with automated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop electrical designs and specifications for automated systems, including automation architecture diagrams, hardware specifications, and panel layout diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion, including compliance with SPX IDEF procedures and applicable design tools and standards.
- Perform study calculations to support electrical design and specifications, including power loads and network design and configuration.
- Ensure that tasks are completed according to project schedule, quality, and budget.
- Develop an electrical solution that meets the requirements of the proposal or project, including tender documentation for electrical subcontractors.
- Study contracts and assist with negotiating with subcontractors to respect budgets when placing orders for electrical equipment and third-party services.
- Provide technical support on electrical design aspects throughout the project and during the proposal phase.
- Prerequisites: knowledge of implementation of automated and electrical systems with at least 5 years proven industry experience.
- Desired: ability to travel in Europe and internationally, fluent English, good communication skills, ability to multi-task in a matrix environment, and ability to work and build relationships with colleagues across multiple departments and diverse geographic locations.
