We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Umbilical Engineer to join our team at ANOTECH. As a key member of our RIAU department, you will be responsible for the technical follow-up of umbilical packages for our offshore oil and gas EPCI projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Support tender and project teams in the technical evaluation of umbilical packages
- Develop specifications for suppliers and interface with them to evaluate proposals and select the best option
- Work with project teams, engineering teams, and SCM to ensure the successful delivery of umbilical packages
- Design and engineer umbilical cross-sections, terminations, bend restrictors, cables, and other associated hardware
- Manage the provision of deliverables, including calculations, definitions, and interfaces between CS/SCS/valves/instrumentation
- Ensure designs and details comply with industry codes, standards, and design guides
- Produce and check design documentation, including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, and construction drawings
- Maintain awareness of project planning and responsible for planning own scope of work
- Ensure progress and compliance of suppliers in close interface with SCM function
- Perform ad-hoc missions to supplier premises to follow up on umbilical fabrications and testing
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with the latest HSEQ and Group procedures
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience in the offshore industry, preferably in umbilical or control design
- Expertise in umbilical design and fabrication for offshore oil and gas EPCI projects
- Past experience with umbilical design and fabrication processes, as well as reporting creation by vendors
- Knowledge of installation, on-bottom stability, routing, and crossing
- Ability to lead and function within a design team and across multiple projects
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplined systems engineering team
- Ability to prioritize own workload, manage time, and inform team members of constraints
- Manage interfaces within a project structure, including other disciplines, drawing office, document control, project management, client, and suppliers
- Subsea umbilical installation

- Subsea controls systems and instrumentation
Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy. Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site - Suresnes. Offshore/off-site location during project execution phase as required.
