Financial Operations Partner – Americas H/F

Key Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Oversee financial governance (monthly closings, budget planning, and long-term forecasting) for a specified group of countries within the Americas (North America, Peru, and Chile).
Develop strategies to enhance the reporting framework (methodology construction, reporting support, and narrative development) and for the assessment of all pertinent performance metrics.
Gain insights into the business landscape across the various countries under oversight, including their markets, dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Conduct financial evaluations of strategic initiatives within the scope (business growth, restructuring, etc.) and provide actionable recommendations. Scrutinize and assess business proposals from countries in a rapidly evolving market with numerous business development prospects.
Facilitate communication between Corporate teams and local subsidiaries. Report local challenges while ensuring effective dialogue with local CFOs.
Collaborate closely with the COO of the Americas and serve as the liaison in the subsidiaries by assisting operational teams in their strategic initiatives.
Engage in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing financial performance (cash management, etc.) and operational effectiveness (IT initiatives, office transformations, etc.)

Details:

Guide and assist subsidiaries under your purview in the formulation and oversight of their budgets and long-term plans. Communicate risks and opportunities identified in these forecasts to the executive committee.
Generate financial analyses and present recommendations to the executive committee regarding specific ventures (acquisitions, investment opportunities, market assessments, valuation reviews, and business model establishment).
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure adherence to financial protocols,
Provide insights on the business operations of the subsidiaries and their areas of focus,
Support the COO of the Americas on financial and operational matters concerning the subsidiaries under supervision, including strategic advice and recommendations.
Interact with all relevant departments/personnel within the Corporate Finance team (Group CFO, IBP, BD, Treasury, Consolidation, etc.) and other divisions (Transformation Office, Business Lines...) Profile

Qualifications Required

Fluent in English (both written and spoken, used as the daily working language) and ideally in Spanish

This position is based in Levallois with the possibility of remote work two days a week.
