About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Quality Management Specialist to join our team at ENGIE. As the Head of Quality Assurance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Management Systems
    • Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) for project execution scope, including methods, processes, procedures, tools, and best practices.
    • Deploy the QMS and develop a quality culture within project teams.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Lead the definition of the level of quality and associated level of controls for ENGIE.
    • Ensure that quality control processes are in place and deviations are detected.
    • Verify key quality control records, including quality plans, welding books, and NDT reports.
  • Stakeholder Management, Training, and Support
    • Establish positive relationships with internal team members and relevant contractors' representatives.
    • Provide support to contractors and internal team members to ensure they understand and correctly implement execution processes, procedures, and tools.
    • Create training material and perform formal training sessions and tests.
  • Reporting and Continuous Improvement
    • Implement follow-up registers and deploy KPI dashboards for quality monitoring.
    • Consolidate reporting from different projects and raise alerts for decisions.
    • Comply with reporting requirements and deadlines, coordinating the efforts of others and consolidating data as applicable.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage the Projects Quality team.
    • Recruit Project Quality Engineers and Document Controllers in line with the growth of the execution team.
    • Assign quality resources to project teams, maintaining line management and performance responsibility.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
    • At least 8 years' experience in a Quality management role for industrial projects in an EPC or contractor organization, preferably on an international scale.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Excellent organisational, planning, and action plan management skills.
    • High sense of rigor and quality mindset.
    • Educational approach, with good communication and persuasion skills.
    • Able to provide clear and concise reports.
    • Proactive problem-solving attitude and able to provide value-added suggestions for process improvements.
    • High sense of responsibility, with a result-oriented drive and a 'never give up' attitude.
    • Able to establish positive relations with colleagues and different stakeholders.
    • High sense of teamwork and cultural sensitivity.
    • Computer skills on project management tools (MS Excel, MS PPT, PowerBi...).
