Alice & Bob is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the functions at our innovative technical facility.
The facility features:
- A modern nanofabrication clean room.
- A specialized cryogenic laboratory for the cooling and analysis of superconducting chips.
Your key responsibility will be to coordinate the daily operational activities at the facility, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, while also managing development projects such as the integration of new equipment and expansions.
In this role, you will report to the Chief of Engineering and work closely with various technical and research teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all operational services on a daily basis, including the coordination of manufacturing and measurement plans, conducting operational briefings, and supervising site-level activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the facility.
- Manage the industrial operations of the facility, ensuring optimal use of resources, implementing maintenance schedules, and assisting in defining investment needs with technical teams.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the facility, including budget creation, investment management, and contributing to the planning of new installations.
During the initial establishment phase of the facility, you will also be instrumental in:
- Validating technical systems during the acceptance phase of installations.
- Supervising the setup of the initial cryostats and nanofabrication equipment during the integration phase.
- Participating in the qualification and transition phase of processes and measurements.
- Engineering degree required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record in managing operations of industrial, research, or laboratory facilities, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Preferred: Experience in clean room operations.
