About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer to join our team in Paris La Défense (Puteaux), France. As a Senior Piping Designer, you will be responsible for leading 3D activity projects and coordinating internal resources to ensure the successful completion of piping design activities. You will work closely with our piping engineers, project control, and management team members to ensure that all design and drawing issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 3D activity projects and coordinate internal resources to ensure successful completion of piping design activities.
- Be responsible for all 3D design in a multi-discipline activity in piping, mechanical, and structural design in a project team environment.
- Prepare all drafting and 3D modeling project procedures and specifications, ensuring compliance with client procedures.
- Ensure schedule compliance for all drawings deliverable and verify deliverable verification plan.
- Ensure subcontracted activity compliance with project piping scope of work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A BS degree in piping engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of detailing and design experience in piping engineering in the oil and gas industry, with LNG project experience being a plus.
- Hard skills: extensive experience in the development of piping engineering drawings, including plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping isometrics.
- Soft skills: ease in written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to report in a consistent and clear manner on work in your area of responsibility.
- Languages: good command of English and French languages.
