WOOD PROCESSING OPERATOR in a SAWMILL setting (M/F)

Full-time permanent position

With over 65 years of expertise, our client is a leader in the wood processing industry. The dedicated team of 17 employees operates in a friendly workshop environment, focused on fulfilling customer demands and delivering orders punctually.

The wood processing tasks are facilitated by advanced automated machinery, ensuring a comfortable working environment while prioritizing the physical well-being of all team members.

To accommodate the growing operational needs, we are looking to welcome a new talent to the team = 1 production line specialist.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing wood for processing and post-processing
  • Adjusting machinery and optimizing workstation setups
  • Ensuring a steady supply of raw materials at the input stage
  • Setting up, dismantling, and calibrating saw blades
  • Conducting basic adjustments on machinery
  • Quality assurance of the production output
  • Making decisions and performing quality classification of processed wood
  • Maintaining and cleaning equipment and work areas
  • Reporting any operational issues to supervisors
  • Carrying out first-level maintenance
  • Utilizing a noise-canceling helmet equipped with a microphone for effective team communication

You possess experience as an operator on an automated production line and are eager to commit long-term with our client. You thrive in team settings and enjoy hands-on tasks.

Your enthusiasm for manual work drives you to enhance your skills on automated machinery. Supplying raw materials without physical strain is achievable.
